The paradox of letting go

As mentioned, this book had a really big impact in my life.  In October 2010, I decided to “let go of what I am” – I stopped my real estate business, I sold or gave away 90% of the things and material possessions I owned, I sold my 2nd vehicle, and I drove 1,300 miles to Florida to embark on a journey, a new relationship, and a new business.  Here I am almost one year later writing this post and it’s amazing to see that I really did “I became what I might be.”

After not working for 9 months, I just (five days ago) finalized an agreement with a private construction lender in the Philadelphia area where I will be their marketing manager, taking care of their online marketing and sales.  It’s amazing to realize that I would not be able (nor ready) to take on what I currently am, had I not taken that “leap of faith” and followed my heart last fall.

I encourage you to translate this passage in a way that is meaningful to you.  The Tao is a very powerful and special set of words.  Read them slowly and let them sink in – see what it brings for you.

Please share with us your thoughts, comments, and insights.

I hope this reading was valuable.
