Flip Around Your But

Most but sentences have the negative at the end:

“I am learning a lot in this course, but it’s just so damn hard to find time for anything else.”

“I really want to go on this trip, but I have to work.”

Why the HECK are we always justifying the negative?!

This is a HORRIBLE way to think.

Flip Around Your But

How do these sound:

“It’s just so damn hard to find time for anything else, but I’m learning a lot in this course!”

“I have to work, but I really want to go on this trip!”

By flipping around your but you trigger your brain to not only see the positive in life, but also to be open and receptive to creative solutions when “you think” it just can’t happen.

Be conscious of your words,

for they reflect your beliefs,

and your beliefs affect the way you see the world.

When you change the way you see the world,

your whole world changes.
